Well, I was a very good boy and stayed put in my studio during the visit from the Portland Museum of Art Contemporaries tonight. It seemed like a fair turn out in spite of the swine flu and all. I'd estimate over a hundred people personally walked through my studio and it looked like everybody was having a great time. Our biannual First Friday open studio events which can be a little overwhelming and it was nice to have a more intimate collective. I talked to a good many visitors and was asked some interesting questions. I highlight of the evening is when two separate born-and-bred Mainers gave me the thumbs up for authenticity on my new winter series.
I did not have a mailing list but I passed along many photo cards with a link to this site. If you actually have wandered to my blog from one of those cards, congratulations! Feel free to drop me an email with your address or email if you want to be kept up to date with my exhibitions. Of course, you can also subscribe to this blog if you want the whole daily/weekly spiel.
